Joysticks are used to transfer one-, two- or multi-dimensional motions of a human being to technical devices. In this context, Man – Machine – Interface (MMI) is also a frequently used term. Inside the joystick, mechanical motion is converted into an electric signal by means of a Hall effect sensor, whereas exterior design focuses on ergonomic, optic and functional features.
The Hall effect technology enables the functional programming of the electric output signal at the customer's
requirement.
